Last year I had hatched an idea to convince Kay and Naeema to go canoeing in Killarney with me this fall. Then I promptly forgot to do any such convincing. As fall rolled around, it became apparent that they were independently considering a trip to Killarney for September. The serendipitousness of it all was too much to ignore, and I booked a flight to Toronto.
Though very strange airline pricing forced the trip to be a short one, I managed to enjoy some time at home, visit with my parents, Jeff, Debbie, Logan, and Trent, complete the trip to Killarney (morphed into some fine hiking with Kay and Josh), and enjoy a few days at our cottage in Haliburton.
For some reason, I didn't think to take many pictures except during the hiking, though. :(
